The Retro style of design can arguably cover any period but it is most often seen in designs from the 1950’s 60’s and 70’s, each of which has its own individual characteristics, use of colour and materials. During this period plastics came to the fore and made the manufacture of any number of items possible on a mass produced level. We stock an extensive range of items from this period including furniture, lighting, glass, ceramics and kitchenalia.

At Antiques of Earlsdon, we try to find original pieces from this period. Owing to an increasingly expanding market in this area, there are a number of companies producing copies of the original designs, however, the originals can still be found, and we try to obtain as many as we can.
